Nursing School

I am so excited to be starting nursing school on May 16th. I know it is going to be challenging, but I'm up for it. I have to take a few prerequisite courses before I can actually get into the nursing program in the Spring of 2012. It seems like a pipe dream, but I know God is calling me to this and will carry me all the way!

Local Baby Resource

I am so excited about the Local Baby Resource website, created by Kim Hendry of Peekaboo Design Group. She is an amazing woman with so much talent. The website address is: http://www.localbabyresource.com/. There you can find interesting articles related to babies, baby health, baby trends, and companies that cater to what-BABIES. I am so proud of this group for all their time and talent. They are the best in the baby business! Elizabeth Kruger of Elle & Mel designed the company logo and I am so happy with it! I think it is awesome. Here it is:

This woman is a true artist! Everything she does from designing logos to making crib bedding, she does with creativity and ingeniousness. I even heard she worked on the animation for The Bee Movie! I just love being around this woman. She is so nice and humble, eventhough she it totally brilliant!

Go check out the website and if you are expecting or have a baby, send us an email! We'll help you out!

Yesterday I attended a new baby networking group called Local Baby Resource. It was a fun and exciting experience! Everyone in the group is so dedicated to what they do and it gave me what I needed to start this blog. I knew I was eventually going to have something to talk about!

I was so excited that I came home and started working on Logos. Well, I had to pick up the kids from school, take them to the park, make dinner, and put them to bed. So actually I didn't get started until about 9:00 p.m. They probably are not going to use these logos but I had fun:

I enjoyed meeting everyone and Kim Hendry was the presenter this time. She talked about her company, Peekaboo Design Group. I was impressed with her brochures, presentation, organization, artistic ability, and the quality of her services and products. Her company designs baby rooms for people who want to keep their baby's sex a surprise. I would encourage anyone who is pregnant to let Kim do all the baby planning and nursery design for you! Her website address is: http://www.peekaboodesign.com/.

I can't wait for our next meeting! I'll let you know what happens next!
